The ARC Career Center is offering a series of workshops this month to teach students skills that will help them obtain employment.
The Resume Development Workshop on Wednesday, May 12, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. will focus resume appearance, formats, and what information to include, and more. The workshop will be held at the Career & Job Opportunity Center. Students can register by calling the Center at 484-8492.
The Internship/Work Experience Workshop on Thursday, May 13, from noon to 1 p.m. will explain why internships are an important step toward your career, and will detail how to obtain an internship through the Co-0p Work Experience and Internship Program.
The New Resume Basics Workshop on Tuesday, May 25, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. is a step-by-step resume-building workshop for the beginner. Formats, information, cover letters, and more will be discussed. It will be held at the Career and Job Opportunity Center. Students can register by calling the Center at
