Employment workshops

The ARC Career Center is offering a series of workshops this month to teach students skills that will help them obtain employment.

The Resume Development Workshop on Wednesday, May 12, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. will focus resume appearance, formats, and what information to include, and more. The workshop will be held at the Career & Job Opportunity Center. Students can register by calling the Center at 484-8492.

The Internship/Work Experience Workshop on Thursday, May 13, from noon to 1 p.m. will explain why internships are an important step toward your career, and will detail how to obtain an internship through the Co-0p Work Experience and Internship Program.

The New Resume Basics Workshop on Tuesday, May 25, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. is a step-by-step resume-building workshop for the beginner. Formats, information, cover letters, and more will be discussed.
