Well folks it's been fun. After two years of writing this column and many for like it I'm moving on from The Current. So how does one end a two-year column and satisfyingly say goodbye at the same time? Why, by good old fashioned shameless self-promotion of course! Which leads me to the last website I'll be recommending you guys: The Movie Wizard.com.

Now, granted, this is not the biggest movie site on the web. It has no database features, there is no wiki page, and the staff is rather small. But what it lacks in technical quality it makes up for in quality content. These are some of the more informed reviews and features you are going to find with movies. Each review is detailed with loving care. At the end of every review you can sync up your Facebook account with the main website and leave comments.

Podcasts are also available to download on iTunes through the site and videos are coming very soon. There are several great monthly features, like the "Great Directors" series, the "Overlooked DVD of the Month," and (my personal favorite) "Great Movie...Until They Screwed Up The Ending" (would you believe a couple Oscar winners get singled out here?)

There are also extensions to The Movie Wizard.com family that are easily accessible through links at the top of the pages. Additional features on comics, technology, and music can be accessed through these links. Oh, and the best part? This whole site is 56k friendly. I know some of you may be laughing but trust me: college students with 56k modems are fairly common (this shouldn't surprise you; college kids are poor.)

I'm going to miss writing for The Current, but you don't have to miss me back. Just type in www.themoviewizard.com in your web browser to start enjoying The Movie Wizard.com. And while you're at it drop me an e-mail and let me know what you think of it. I'm Kevin T. Rodriguez signing off for the final time.
